243 Northampton Street in Easton is an Address you MUST etch into the address book inside your mind and go to as soon as POSSIBLE.
Why? Because THAT is the address of The River Grille – One of the most amazing restaurants I’ve ever been to and one of the best restaurants YOU will ever go to! Simply divine is an understatement! Chef Roth really came to the plate and hit a grand slam with the menu and with everything my wife and I enjoyed recently for dinner!
Artie, the Restaurant’s General Manager greeted us the moment we got there and we sat at a nice, cozy booth! He informed us about some of the history of River Grille, a Continue Reading
I drove by Wally’s Wicked Wings several times over the past few weeks and I KNEW it would be out of this world once I actually stopped! It had the word “Wings” in it’s name… WIN / WIN for me! I was not let down when my good friend, Bristen and I went for a ‘guys night out’ this past week. Don’t get me wrong, Wally’s is great for the guys but while we were there we saw an array of groups having a great time. Families were their with their kids in the game room section of Wally’s (kids get free $$$ to play Continue Reading
Recently we had the pleasure of dining at the all new “Sugars” Stage & Spirits located pretty much at the corner of 987 (Airport Rd’s end) and Point Phillips Road in Bath PA! The former Klecknersville Hotel has been a staple in the Valley for decades and Sugars did an amazing job with their own personal remodel, yet keeping the integrity of the building intact! We were all very much into Sugars 50’s Pin Up Girl Vibe when we got into the foyer. Continue Reading
On a whim my wife and I stopped at the Lehigh Valley mall to walk around the other day. We went around noon and decided we were hungry so we looked for some food. Instead of the same old fired or fast food we found “The Pita Pit”. We stopped in and found a pretty diverse menu including some vegetarian entrees.
The Pita Pit explains that they were “founded on the idea that people want an exciting alternative to fast food restaurants—a place with great tasting food that’s healthy, fresh, and still served fast.” Continue Reading
Recently, I asked a bunch of friends where they had their best meal ever and I was overwhelmed told to try a couple Thai food places in the Lehigh Valley. I picked Thai Thai II for my first Thai food experience. I went with my wife and a couple friends; I’ve found that good food is better with good friends. We arrived at about 6pm on a Sunday and found very close parking right on the street across from the restaurant. The restaurant has a very small entrance with a small sign out front so don’t miss it when you go. It was busy but we were seated in just a few minutes. We were seated in a nice back room and quickly waited on by one of the many waiters running from table to table. The menu is filled with tasty sounding appetizers and meals. They also have a large selection of vegetarian meals. Continue Reading
BAM! So, that’s the trademarked slang that Emeril uses when creating his culinary masterpieces. And, since Emeril is no stranger to perfection, he has opened yet another great venue for eating and imbibing signature eats and drinks in the Lehigh Valley.
Emeril’s Italian Table, opening June 4th 2011, boasts an intricate old world Italian menu and a contemporary Italian vibe. Stone walls, dark woods, and deep colors. Front of the restaurant has a lively character as there is a bar fully stocked with rare Italian reds and whites, and a varied drink menu for the risk takers. And, next to that is an Italian specialty “meat” bar. Yes, a meat bar. You can sit and watch the professional chef’s slice cured hams and sopressata in front of your very eyes! And, then there’s the romantic and quiet back of restaurant, perfectly ambient for dates, family dinners, or business meetings.
