Wally's Wicked WingsWally's Wicked Wings I drove by Wally's Wicked Wings several times over the past few weeks and I KNEW it would be out of this world once I actually stopped! It had the word "Wings" in it's name... WIN / WIN for me!  I was not let down when my good friend, Bristen and I went for a 'guys night out' this past week. Don't get me wrong, Wally's...

Wally’s Wicked Wings

I drove by Wally’s Wicked Wings several times over the past few weeks and I KNEW it would be out of this world once I actually stopped! It had the word “Wings” in it’s name… WIN / WIN for me!  I was not let down when my good friend, Bristen and I went for a ‘guys night out’ this past week. Don’t get me wrong, Wally’s is great for the guys but while we were there we saw an array of groups having a great time.  Families were their with their kids in the game room section of Wally’s (kids get free $$$ to play games), a married couple was sitting next to us at one of the high tops near the bar, and a big crowd of people celebrating the end of the work day  were talking it up at Wally’s well stocked bar! (The Craft Beer Selection is amazing!)

Wally’s is owned by Karl, who has been in the food & beverage industry since he was 12 years old! He is no stranger to restaurants and knows only the freshest local foods and produce! Everything Bristen and I enjoyed that night at Wally’s was above and beyond! Corinne, our  server, got us started with a few drinks including Goose Island Nut Brown Ale from Goose Island, Chicago! The Goose Tap handle alone made me want to try it, but the drink was out of this world!  For appetizers, we had some great suggestions from Corinne, and we ulimtately went with 2 choices. First, the  Shrimp & Crab Parmesan Dip: Shrimp and Crab, Fresh Parmesan Cheese, and Zesty Seasonings with a Cream Cheddar Base! Yumm. It came in a crock with Pita Chips and TRUST ME, there was none left.  For our second appetizer we enjoyed the Chicken Quesadillas! Half of them made it home to our wifes and they were more than thrilled with Wally’s Chicken Q!!!

Moving on to dinner, we had a little bit of everything! How can you NOT get the wings?  You have to and we did! The amazing thing about Wally’s is they have both wet and ‘dry rub’ wings! I haven’t seen dry rub wings in the Lehigh Valley, ever! I ordered Garlic Parm Dry Rub Wings and they did not dissapoint! We also had the Sweet and Spicey Asian Plum Wings and the Honey Citrus Pepper! Again, 2 styles I have NEVER seen on a menu before. Only at Wally’s Wicked Wings! The wings were plump, crispy, and sauced perfectly. Throw in the chunky Blue Cheese and Celery and we have perfection!   Wally’s also has Buffalo Shrimp and we enjoyed them dusted with breading and their ‘Mild Millie” sauce! Bristen then had the Chicken Breast BLT served with Apple-Wood Smoked Bacon, chees, lettuce, and tomato, served on a bun with your choice of Mayo or Boom Boom Sauce!  I ordered the Cheesesteak because you either have a ‘good’ cheesesteak or an ‘AMAZING’ Cheesesteak. WWW was the latter! It was filled with American Cheese, Fire Roasted Green Peppers, & Onions, and served on an Italian Roll!  Add in the awesome Bay Fries with Cheesey Sauce and I was in HEAVEN!

WWW has a wide variety of desserts including Corinne’s favorite; The Giant Peach Melba! It comes in a serving cup the size of my head! Pound Cake layered with Sliced Peaches, Melba Sauce, Vanilla Ice Cream, and LOADS of Whipped Cream! Definitely order this! The Apple Blossom Ala Mode is also a fan favorite at Wally’s!

Thanks to Karl, Corinne, and the staff at WWW for an amazing time!  Date Night, Guys Night Out, Family Fun and more…. Definitely check out Wally’s on Route 309 just south of Coopersburg!
